Queens Rising at a Glance
Queens Rising is dedicated to rescuing and reintegrating black and brown, girls and women in inner city neighborhoods who are and have fallen victim to sex trafficking and sexual abuse. Our mission is to remove girls and women from terrible situations, rebuild their confidence and reintroduce them to a life worth living for by providing them with the tools needed to do so. We plan on working with the community, law enforcement and other channels to ensure the work for them is done.
Making A Difference
Support
Our goal is to provide support to girls and women in need. Support begins with a community that goes above and beyond to ensure that victims no longer feel as if they are their situation. We strive to remove victims from their current situations and provide them with the tools to live a life with purpose. With access to the right resources, girls and women can become empowered by their traumas and move their lives in a different direction. We encourage them to embrace their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.
Education
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we are constantly looking for ways to provide education and resources not only to rescued girls and women but also to girls and women in the community to prevent them from falling into a tragic situation. We provide both interactive and informational classes to help protect them in their everyday lives as well as in unexpected situations that put them at risk.
